This privacy policy explains how Billpal e.U. (Roman Leeb), Erdberger Lände 36/90, 1030 Vienna, Austria ("we", "us") handles personal data when you visit maveriq.io. We are the controller responsible for your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can reach us at hi@maveriq.io.
Data we collect
When you contact us through the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide – typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically logs technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of access. This is necessary to deliver the site securely.
How we use your data
We use the data you send us to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about a potential collaboration (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Technical access data is used to operate, secure, and maintain the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not sell your data and only share it with the processors listed below.
Hosting and third-party services
The site is hosted on Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA), which processes server logs on our behalf. The demo video is embedded via Cloudflare Stream (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which may receive your IP address and device data when the player loads. These providers act as processors and rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfer of data outside the EU.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded third-party content (such as the video player) may set technical cookies that are required for it to function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Data retention
We keep contact inquiries only as long as needed to handle your request and to comply with any legal retention obligations, after which the data is deleted. Server log data is stored for a limited period for security purposes.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Austria, the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hi@maveriq.io.
